of canopy tours at the top of the rain forest, or take a walk in the jungle
and view some of the world's most beautiful and rare birds; or listen to
Howler monkeys communicating with another troop a mile away. Visit
active volcano's, including Arenal Volcano - one of the America's most
active, or you may desire the adrenaline rush of white water rafting! And
when you're ready for more calm waters... we can arrange for a medley
of water sports. Available are Jet-skies, how-about snorkeling or scuba
diving off of Tortuga Island. Perhaps you would prefer a relaxing horse-
back ride along a pristine beach in Montezuma where wildlife is abundant.

DAY TRIPS
Some of the most beautiful beaches in the country can be visited within
a relatively short driving distance from Herradura Bay or Playa Jaco.
Especially remarkable are Playa Hermosa, the next beach south of
Jaco; and Playa Esterillos, about a twenty minute drive further south.
While at Esterillos you will marvel at the appearance of the waves
coming to shore from several directions. It's truly a sight to behold and
Playa Esterillos is a favorite for surfers, who come from all over the world.
Continuing south is the city of Quepos, with its vibrant atmosphere and
many shops and restaurants where you can stop and get a bite to eat,
or a cold drink.
Over the mountain, from Quepos, along a coastal road, are studios and
galleries that remind one of Santa Fe or Taos, New Mexico. On the other
side you arrive at Manuel Antonio National Park, with its stunning beaches
and lagoons. During the trek into the jungle you will encounter Iguanas,
white-face monkeys, sloth's, birds of many varieties, more beautiful
beaches and sounds you will never forget. Wildlife thrives in this jungle
environment so be sure to bring a camera, you won't regret it.
